Parent Voice
The Parent Voice is a forum to allow parents to participate in the process of school improvement by sharing their expertise, experiences and observations.
It
runs in the following way (currently via zoom):
The topic of each meeting will be given in advance
With our online zoom meetings, parents will need to register to attend in advance (we will have a maximum group size of 25 parents)
Whilst senior school staff will be present, conversation will be led by parents (we anticipate that this will be via breakout rooms in zoom)
Meetings will give parents an informal and genuine opportunity for open discussion
Meetings will give the school effective and timely feedback to inform their future planning
We will encourage discussion on issues which relate to how we can work together to further improve our offer to students and families
It will not be a forum to discuss individual students or members of staff, or concerns relating to a specific incident.
We would very much welcome a range of parents joining and aim to make the sessions informal and inclusive.
If you can spare the time, and would like to hear more please Email: Parentvoice@ushschool.org to express your interest, with any particular general school topics you would like to discuss.
