Key Stage Three
Citizenship is a subject offered to students from Year 9. In
Y9, students will complete case studies focused on the Rwandan Genocide and Apartheid
in South Africa, through this they will look at Human Rights and how the world
tackles international crisis and immigration.
In addition, students will begin to look at the legal system through how we deal with youth offenders and how British political system works. This allows students to build the foundations in Politics, Law and Economics.
